We were concerned when arriving at the Denham lot behind an ex-pub. The guys were working out of a cabin and the car was not present. To be fair, I'd been told to give 30 min notice so they could bring the car over from their more secure compound elsewhere. Anyway, when the car eventually arrived it has just been washed/valeted and was pristine. As they'd had the car for a month we negotiated a good price and went away happy. The HPI check showed 'stocking' finance but this was cleared immediately on purchase. HGC hold a lot of trade-in cars and buy prestige cars from BCA with finance and really need to sell within the month to avoid interest charges. This is typical of such dealers. Anyway, I'm well pleased and happy to give a good review. They lose one star because they don't have the facilities you might expect but I must say they do prepare the cars well and seem pretty genuine.

I bought a golf from here and had a little car for part ex , I have to say I had a very good experience my part ex vale was quite good and the car I bought is amazing, I have been to few other dealers before they’re vehicles wasn’t as described so I definitely recommend this dealership to anyone. Sold a seriously faulty car. Cost upwards of £1500 to repair within 6 months of taking ownership: EGR cooler cracked (found out the crack had been GLUED over!) split power steering pipe, manifold leaking plus more issues. When contacted they either dodged calls, constantly made excuses, promises to sort something out etc but just dragged it out until I stopped pursuing them. I am highly suspicious of all the 5 star reviews of them, and I wouldn't be surprised if they were from fake profiles. Autotrader should not be letting such unscrupulous operators advertise on the site.

Worst experience ever. Went to look at a specific car & was ready to buy there & then. Staff completely disinterested - Got into conversation on 2 separate occasions & both times he took a call mid sentence & entered into lengthy conversation No conversation about the car when any specific questions were asked & basically said if you want it buy it as it is. Aircon not working & refused recharge even at my expense - assume it was broken but he wouldn't say. Be warned appears to have no interest in customer service whatsoever - doesn't bode well if you buy from him
